How To Make Your Personal Portable DVD Player Holder For Your Automobile
A Soniq Portable DVD Player lets a DVD be viewed wherever you might go, thanks to its built-in LCD screen and battery-powered operation. You'll be able to make a holder for a portable DVD player that can let the passengers in the back seat of one's automobile be entertained even though in transit or during a ride. Several supplies from a hardware store or hobby shop might be necessary, but no tools that could trigger damage towards the auto. The holder will maintain the portable DVD player in position when it's used and will enable it to be removed after you exit the car so it can be placed within the trunk for safekeeping.
Points You'll Will need
- Bendable twist-ties
- Bonding glue
- Velcro hooking pad strip
- Velcro pad strip
- Bath towel
- Ruler
- Grease pencil
Hold a bendable twist tie horizontally between both hands. Get into the back of the car and sit behind the front passenger seat. Wrap the twist tie about the headrest of the passenger seat. Push the finish of the twist tie by means of the locking tab and pull it back inside the other direction to secure it about the headrest.
Apply a line of bonding glue to the side of the twist tie that is facing you. Press a strip of Velcro pad against the line of glue. Press the strip against the glue and hold it there for a minute. Let the bonding glue set for an hour just before proceeding.
Hold a different bendable twist tie vertically in between both hands. Wrap the twist-tie around the headrest on its left side. Push the end of the twist tie by way of the locking tab and pull it back in the other direction to secure it about the headrest. Repeat this procedure with one more bendable twist tie on the best side of the headrest.
Grab hold of the end of the twist tie on the left side of the headrest that was pulled via the locking tab. Pull the end up at a 45 degree angle along with your fingers. Repeat this process with the bendable twist tie that's on the correct of the headrest.
Place a bath towel on a table. Location the portable DVD player face down on the table. Examine the back of the player to see if you will find slots on each side, as will be the case with those players that have a front-mounted LCD screen. If you can find no slots, location two drops of bonding glue 1 inch in and halfway up the length of each side of the player. Location a Velcro hooking pad on every of the glued spots. Press down on the pads for a minute so that the bonding glue can take hold. Let the bonding glue set for an hour before proceeding.
Measure up the length of the player from the bottom left corner. Draw a horizontal line across the back of the player from the halfway mark with a grease pencil. Apply a line of bonding glue on the horizontal line. Place a strip of Velcro hooking material on the line and press down for a minute to engage the glue. Let the glue set for an hour prior to proceeding.
Hold the Dual Screen Portable DVD Player against the back of the passenger seat's headrest. Insert the angled ends of the left and suitable twist ties into the slots on the back of the player -- if you will discover no slots, location the angled ends beneath the left and correct sides of the player. Press the back of the player against the horizontal twist tie on the headrest to ensure that the Velcro hooking pad and also the strip of Velcro pad can meet.
Turn on the portable DVD player, insert a DVD and watch it whilst within the vehicle. Eliminate the angled ends of the twist ties from the player and pull it totally free of the strip of Velcro when it's time to exit the car.
