All About Home Theater System
If you'd like to be able to enjoy movies and hear music just like you are at the flick theater or in a gig hall ; and you would like it all in your own living room, you want a home theater system. You can get a home theater system at your local electronics store or you can get it online. A home theater system will give you complete control over your entertainment needs and the individual components are often so powerful that you’ll never go back to a regular TV or stereo again. So far as pricing, this will alter as there are numerous models and elements. It’s all up to you as to what you want to add to your home theater system.
Before heading out and get a dvd home-based theatre system, or stereo system, or any other kind of home cinema system, you have to have a budget under consideration. Don't simply expect to go to the store and figure you can decide after you get there how much you are going to spend. That’s how you get into trouble. Once you see how much there is to add to your home theater system, and once you see how persuasive the sales people can be, it can be very easy to max out your credit cards on the ultimate home theater system. do the research and ensure you know how much everything costs before you shell out lots of money for lots of components you may not ever use. You can do your own research by shopping online and comparing prices.
While you are comparing costs, you may also desire to contemplate what you need in your house theater system. Do you want a DVD player, a flat screen TV, a stereo system, or all of the above? Do you want surround sound speakers? Do you want theater seats with speakers built in? As you can see there is no limit to the amount of components you can add to your home theater system. The more you add the more awesome your home theater system will be. It’s also much more expensive. You don’t need a lot of components to have a really great home theater system but it’s all up to you and how much you can spend.
Setting up your house theater system is easy. The components are usually very user friendly and you usually just have to plug each component into the other. You will be pleased that you got your home theater system once it’s set up and ready to go and remember you can always add more components as time goes by; you don’t need to get everything up front just to be able to enjoy a theater experience right in the comfort of your own home.
Connecting DVD Theatre system to tv?
We're trying to connect an LG Plasma 720P to Samsung HT-Z420 DVD Home Theatre System, and we want to get audio from the TV to the system, because the audio on the TV pretty much sucks. We've connected the HDMI cable to both the TV and the sound system, as the manual says. We've also got a fiber optics cable connected from the video in to video out ports. We still don't have any sound from the TV to the sound system. Also, the DVD has sound, but no video.
The cable TV is hooked up from a Comcast cable box.
We've already tried turning off the TV speakers.
We now have DVD visual, but no audio yet from normal cable TV.
If you get all of your cable programming from your Comcast cable box then I would hook up the audio from the cable box to your Samsung Home Theatre system and not worry about hooking up through your tv set.
However, if you have other things hooked up to your tv set and need to get the sound from your tv to your home theatre then look for some sort of audio output from your tv set. It could be red and white rca jacks, it could be digital optical output. Take that and hook it up to your home theatre. You may need to get to the menu selection on your tv set and set it to output audio via those connectors before they will work.
Also, as far as I am aware of, fiber optic cable is not used for video input or output

Jurassic Park film was my favorite but the sequels not so much'. But nobody
can deny the impact that this entire trilogy had on cinema in terms of visual
and special effects. Not only did this franchise raise the [...]
